“No one who cooks, cooks alone. Even at her most solitary, a cook
in the kitchen is surrounded by generations of cooks past, the advice
and menus of cooks present, the wisdom of cookbook writers.”
    ~ Laurie Colwin

Karin- if this does not say it All! the only thing that equaled the excellent food was the exellent company of cooks.

Karin, this is GREAT! I can’t wait to read your book when it’s finished.

You won’t recognize me when you see me. I have lost 25 pounds so far, and I’m still going, so I probably won’t be able to try any of these for a while. I can usually do most vegetables, very little bread, and a very small amount of meat. Even after I get to my target weight, I will not be able to slip very often. What a drag!

Can’t wait to see you in October!! We’ll party.

Karin, hands down you are a wonderful teacher and hostess. Cooking with you and all the other women you invited made for a warm, lively interaction – working so closely chopping, frying, kneading – drinking great wines and letting conversation unfold while all working with fresh ingredients that exploded with such aromas as to make you swoon….. I simply had a grand time learning new recipes, meeting amazing and interesting women, sitting down to a fantastic meal put together by all but hardly seemed like any effort – it was that enjoyable! Kudos girlfriend, you know how to make food and friends happen! Hugs az

Karin, this was truly a wonderful evening…so much more fun than a regular dinner party. Not only was it great to have everyone talking and working together on the various aspects of the dinner; the outcome was a fantastic meal with lots of lively conversation amongst friends both old and new. What a great way to bring everyone together. Looking forward to the next one!
