Good friend, Gene DiCianni, and I had the good fortune today to ride up the ski lift with the Marketing Manager for the Stein Eriksen Lodge. We asked her how the arrival at Deer Valley of the Montage and the St. Regis was affecting her lodge and restaurant. She reminded us that the Stein Eriksen was the only Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond Lodge in Utah. To prove her point she invited us to enjoy the skiers brunch with a 2 for 1 coupon. The brunch was marvelous, the service was splendid. The valet even transported the skis from the rack to run. Now, where else can you get service like that?
